• Spain adopted the community legislation on data protection under Organic Law 15/1999, dated December 13, 1999, concerning the protection of personal data (LOPD). Said law places a series of obligations on any individual or corporation that processes personal data as part of its normal activities. Thus the LOPD seeks to guarantee and protect the privacy of any personal data provided by individuals in the course of normal business relations.

• The aim of the LOPD is to regulate and achieve the appropriate treatment of personal data, ensuring and protecting the freedom of the public and the respect of the fundamental rights of the individual. The law seeks to ensure that any work done involving such data should use it responsibly, for a legitimate purpose and that such data is not freely distributed.

• We wish to inform you that, GS, LLEM, SL, hereinafter called Grup (+), with its responsibility for the personal data collection files, strictly applies all the pertinent legislation regarding the compilation of the pertinent personal data, be it in digital format, in automated files, or on paper, in manual or non-automated files.

• Thus any data Grup (+) may require you to submit is processed in automated files entirely owned by Grup (+), and may only be used in the processing of the services requested or to provide tailored information on our activities and services.

• Thus whomsoever may desire so to do may exercise his/her right to access, rectify, cancel or contest any of his/her own data by sending an e-mail to info@grupcongress.com, or by writing to GS, LLEM, SL, c/ Legalitat, 64 local 10, 08024 Barcelona, Spain, attaching a photocopy of his/her Identity Document.
